MCTI has two Occupational Therapists on staff to help implement any accommodation recommendations for requests. MCTI coordinates accommodations needed for licensing examinations and requests for test materials in alternate formats.

MCTI provides basic medical care through our Health Services Department. Students have access to a Nurse/Physician for medical needs and Social Workers/Therapists for mental health needs. Staff assist with medical refills and coordinating on-going care in the student’s home community.

Placement Services including resume building, assistance filling out job application, mock interviewing, transportation to interviews, and follow-up with employers. MCTI/MRS has a statewide employment network and most often students are employed at graduation. MCTI has an 85% placement rate over the past 20 years.

The purpose of Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) is to help people with disabilities get and keep a suitable job.

To begin working with MRS you will need to complete the MRS Application for Vocational and Employment Services (MRS-2910) and submit to an MRS office.
