Students are trained in the operation of state-of-the-art CNC panel processing equipment, spindle molders, profile grinders, and numerous other woodworking machines. Students train to set up, operate or tend milling or planning machines to mill, plane, shape, groove or profile wood materials.

MCTI has two Occupational Therapists on staff to help implement any accommodation recommendations for requests. MCTI provides assistance to help coordinate accommodations needed for licensing examinations and requests for test materials in alternate formats.

MCTI provides basic medical care through our Health Services Department. Students have access to a Nurse/Physician for medical needs and Social Workers/Therapists for mental health needs. Staff assist with medical refills and coordinating on-going care in the student's home community

Placement Services including resume building, assistance filling out job application, mock interviewing, transportation to interviews, and follow-up with employers. MCTI/MRS has a statewide employment network and most often students are employed at graduation. MCTI has an 85% placement rate over the past 20 years.
