In this hands-on course, participants will learn how to work safely around electrical equipment in an industrial setting. The units in the course address the safety rules of electricity which are a prerequisite to Basic Electricity, Advanced Electrical and Automated Control Concepts, Sensors and Automated Electromechanical Devices and Programmable Control Systems courses. The participant will demonstrate comprehension by performing tasks on actual electrical and electronic controls of industrial equipment.
